Launched on Monday: Borland Enterprise Studio for C++, includes the C++ BuilderX IDE and the new Together Edition for the IDE. Together provides design and modeling tools for C++ developers. C++BuilderX includes tools for building applications for mobile and embedded computing, as well as support for widely used standards-based C++ compilers, including GCC, Intel, Metrowerks, Microsoft Visual C++ and Sun Forte C++.
Enterprise Studio of C++ sells for $5,000, with a mobile edition selling for $6,999. The C++ BuilderX IDE alone comes in three editions: enterprise for $2,500, developer for $1,000 and personal, which is available at no charge.
