Hari Kamis dan Jumat ini aku habiskan di Jakarta. Pertemuan internal Telkom yang menarik tentang sinergi kegiatan2 komunitas antar divisi, berlokasi di Wisma Antara, Jakarta. Melelahkan, karena dua hari pertemuan itu bener2 pertemuan, dengan silang pendapat yang nyaring dan demokratis. Terlalu menarik, sampai aku tega nggak mengunjungi event Insync di Ritz dan ISS di JCC sama sekali. Beda dengan rapat2 serupa di Supratman, dimana yesmen lebih banyak, dan rapat bukannya melelahkan tapi … cape dehhh. Yaa, hasilnya nggak ditulis di sini deh. Kebanyakan. Tapi nanti bakal dikomunikasikan sama komunitas2 di Bandung. Kapan neh, KLuB ngumpul2 lagi? Batagor? BHTV? Hmmm …

Yang kurang di Wisma Antara itu snack. Berat badanku sedang terjun menembus batas psikologis 50. Dan aku jadi doyan makan. Jadi aku bawa bekal cokelat buat dimakan di tengah rapat. Nggak sopan. Gue banget :). Dan selesai rapat, aku kabur cari snack. Ada Sbux di Thamrin. Menikmati cinnamon roll kesukaanku sama grande ice caramel macchiato sendirian, aku siap buat acara berikutnya: blogger gathering w/ Nokia. Meluncur dengan busway ke sana. Hey, syukur aku sempat makan dan ngopi. Salah gedung aku rupanya. Gedung Stanchart sudah berubah nama jadi ANZ, dan aku harus jalan kaki ke Stanchart baru.
Nokia, seperti perusahaan keren lainnya, mengundang 10 blogger buat memperkenalkan produk terbarunya. Produk itu ialah Nokia N78. Mobile terminal ini dirasa pas buat kaum blogger yang selalu haus untuk sharing personal experience. Ia telah dilengkapi dengan GPS client. Kamera 3.2 megapixel berlensa Carl Zeiss menghasilkan gambar yang bisa langsung dimetadatai dengan informasi lokasi dari GPS. Dikirimkan langsung ke Flickr (via sebuah client, bukan MMS), ia menghasilkan gambar di web dengan informasi lokasi, siap untuk diblogkan. Keren kan? Mudah2an API-API lain bisa dimanfaatkan para programmer kita untuk mulai bikin aplikasi2 context-aware yang bakal luar biasa. N78, dan penerusnya nanti, bisa bikin revolusi budaya kesekian yang diakibatkan oleh teknologi mobile dan Internet. Yang versi sekarang, sayangnya, masih lemah penerimaan GPS-nya untuk indoor. Aku pikir bisa diakalin. Tapi cobanya nggak bisa lama sih. Keburu waktunya makan :).
Sorry, nggak ada gambarnya, nggak dikasih gambar sama pihak Nokia. Cari sendiri di Google ya :). Tapi aku dikasih sebuah ransel berukuran sedang. Pas untuk travelling ringan. Dan sebuah gadget bernama World Charger. Benda ini bisa mengalahkan hotel paling arogan di Indonesia (yang plug listriknya selalu sok asing) dengan menyediakan multi plug (in/out) dan masih plus USB charger. Wow, bisa langsung dicoba nih. Hihi, bukannya mereview N78 malah mereview charger. Abisan, yang bisa dicoba lama2 emang yang ini :).

Internetworking Indonesia is a semi-annual journal devoted to the timely study of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Internet development in Indonesia. The journal seeks high-quality manuscripts on the challenges and opportunities presented by information technology and the Internet in Indonesia.
FOCUS & SCOPE
Internetworking Indonesia aims to become the foremost publication for practitioners, teachers, researchers and policy makers to share their knowledge and experience in the design, development, implementation, and the management of ICT and the Internet in Indonesia.
TOPICS
Internetworking Indonesia welcomes and strongly encourages submissions based on interdisciplinary approaches focusing on ICT & Internet development and its related aspects in the Indonesian context. These include (but not limited to) information technology, communications technology, computer sciences, electrical engineering, and the broader social studies regarding ICT and Internet development in Indonesia.

Internetworking Indonesia accepts a variety of manuscripts in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. Please review the descriptions below and identify the submission type best suited to your intended submission:
SUBMISSION LANGUAGE
Manuscripts in English and Bahasa Indonesia are accepted.
MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Manuscripts should be submitted according to the IEEE Guide for authors, and will be refereed in the standard way. Manuscript pages should not exceed 7 pages of the IEEE 2-column format, preferably submitted electronically in an MS-Word file format.
All manuscripts should be submitted electronically. Please visit www.InternetworkingIndonesia.org for more information.
Manuscripts submitted to Internetworking Indonesia must not have been previously published or committed to another publisher under a copyright transfer agreement, and must not be under consideration by another journal.
Authors of accepted papers are responsible for the Camera Ready Copy (CRC) in the IEEE 2-column format (MS-Word file). Authors are advised that no revisions of the manuscript can be made after acceptance by the Editor for publication. The benefits of this procedure are many, with speed and accuracy being the most obvious. We look forward to working with your electronic submission which will allow us to serve you more efficiently.

The Internetworking Indonesia journal provides open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This is the philosophy of the Open Journal Systems (see the Public Knowledge Project at pkp.sfu.ca). The journal will be published electronically and there are no subscription fees. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author’s work.
